The Challenge

Site King approached us to design a new website to improve ease of use and therefore drive conversions. The previous website was built on Magento 1, which had become an outdated technology. Site King needed an innovative solution to better serve their audience.

The Solution

We created a new Ecommerce platform for Site King. The new online store was streamlined so it was easier to use and better categorised. In addition to this, we put a lot of focus on device optimisation to better serve the user base.

This new platform was built using Magento 2 CMS. Site King previously had used Magento 1, which had since become outdated.

Moving over to Magento 2 meant that the new website benefitted from new features as well as enhanced security. This helped improve the customer journey and overall experience on the website.This project involved two key stages.

The first stage being the design and development of a new platform. The last stage was the migration from the old website to the new platform.

The migration stage meant safely and securely moving over order, product and customer data as well as importing shipping and tax rules. We were able to flawlessly execute both stages in an efficient and timely manner.

The new website increased conversion rates and also encouraged return visits. Customer surveys showed that existing customers found the new website easier to use. In addition to this, we were also able to improve customer retention rates.
